A Wistful Passion

I’m the luckiest person in the world, in my life, I was able to not only discover my true passion in life but also flourish in it. My love for cooking was and is beyond comprehension, during those years I commanded some of the premier French kitchens in New York, I rarely slept more than four hours a night. That did not stop me from hopping out of bed and skipping to work. I was also lucky in another way, it was the beginning of the Food Network, and it was during those years I was lucky enough to cut my teeth on that fledgling station and it provided me a platform for most of the country to discover not only my cooking but also my wacky antics.

I am now in the second chapter of my life, and again I have been extremely lucky to discover another passion, writing. Now, this is not a substitute to those glorious days of leading those brigades into battle, heel no! This instead is complementary to those exploits. Yes kiddies, a memoir is in the works, stay tuned! But I have found great joy in writing horror novels. I have completed my first, and in the coming weeks, I will let you in to read excerpts from it. So with Halloween in our sights (my favorite holiday), get your popcorn ready and stay tuned for A Wistful Tale of Gods, Men, and Monsters…
